Taking the GED in Boston

 

What should I do to take the GED?
To take the GED, you must first pick up an application from one of the following testing centers:

  • G.E.D. Testing Program Adult Learning Center
    11A Charles Street

    Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-2:00 pm

  • Boston Ctr. for Youth & Families

  • Roxbury Community College

    Roxbury Crossing, MA 02120
    Phone: (617) 427-0060 ext 5048
     

Return this application, along with a money order for $65.00 made payable to BPS/ABEP BEDF #2198, to a GED Testing Center. You can return it in person or by mail.

When can I take the test?
Call the Adult Learning Center at (617) 635-9300 to find out when the tests are given. There is a test given every month. And remember, applications must be turned in at least two weeks before the next testing date. Then, you need to make an appointment to take the test.
